Plano based Duncan/Day Advertising, a certified women-owned agency for over 23 years, is pleased to announce that Laura McCaskill has joined the firm as its new Art Director.

“Everyone at Duncan/Day seems to genuinely love what they do, and it really shows in the work they produce,“ said McCaskill. “I’m excited about an opportunity to be a part of such a dynamic group of talent.”

Laura, whose work has been published in CMYK and, most recently, Communication Arts magazine, previously spent time as a freelance graphics designer for TM Advertising and as an intern at The Richards Group.

“Laura’s accomplishments in the ad world far exceed her tenure in the industry,” said creative director and managing partner, Stacey Day. “We feel like she’s one of those rare talents that everyone looks for, and you just have to feel lucky when you get one on board.”

Working with reputable brands such as Nationwide Insurance, Gamestop, H-E-B, Centex Homes and AMC’s Mad Men, Laura brings an impressive portfolio and a number of new capabilities to the firm.

Laura graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2007 with a degree in Advertising, where she went through the highly acclaimed Texas Creative sequence as an art director.
